Electronic speed adaptation system, HDL-d/HD5

The operating systems of the crane control the lifting speed and thereby the acceleration of the load independently of the crane operator.

For the best safety and the longest life span

Since the system reduces the speed of the crane gradually when approaches its maximum load, the dynamic additional forces in the steel construction of the crane are reduced. This gives you as a crane owner a great advantage: an extended life span of your crane.

How it works

The speed of the individual crane functions has individual and step-less adaptation to the current load moment via signals to the electric activation on the spools of the control valve (flow control).

In the area between a capacity of approx. 75% and 100 % of the load, the RCL activates an electronic ramp function which continuously adapts the crane speed to the current load moment conditions.

All RCS cranes are equipped with the HDL-d system.
