Moscow event shows power of Scania plus Hyva

An event designed to demonstrate the potential of Scania’s recently launched XT range has proved a great success for Hyva. The 4-day event was held in the Dmitrovsky district of Moscow, between 28 May – 2 June, and was attended by 360 specially chosen customers.

The Scania XT, part of the company’s New Truck Generation range, is aimed at heavy duty applications, and has been widely hailed as a major step forward in vehicle design. Much of this acclaim has been due to the XT’s wide range of features, extreme reliability and ability to take on the toughest of challenges.

The Moscow event was intended as a platform for demonstrating these powerful features of the XT, as well as its versatility and effectiveness as a full solution. To help realise this aim, a number of complete, application-specific, solutions were on show, and – as the equipment supplier most recommended by Scania – Hyva’s products were used in several of them. In fact, the event featured one rigid tipper from KH-KIPPER, one from Kögel and four from Wielton, each equipped with the Hyva Alpha generation of hydraulic cylinders, as well as one semitrailer using the same Hyva products. Attendees, who were all major Scania customers, were invited to test drive the vehicles, and many were impressed with their experience of Hyva technology.
