Hyva celebrates 45th anniversary

This year, Hyva proudly marks 45 years in business. Founded in 1979 with the mission to create the best hydraulic cylinders and provide exceptional customer service, Hyva has expanded its reach globally over the decades through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, building a diverse portfolio of successful products and establishing a strong international presence.

Expansion through Europe in the 1980s was followed by countries in Asia – Malaysia, Thailand and China. The 1990s saw the establishment of subsidiaries and production facilities in Brazil and India, and by the new millennium, manufacturing was also established in China. We continued to grow by establishing subsidiaries in the USA, Australia, and various countries across the Middle East and Far East. Recent strategic acquisitions, like Usimeca and Deepware, further strengthened our position, solidifying Hyva a truly global business network.

As we celebrate this milestone, we extend our gratitude to our customers, partners and suppliers for their trust and loyalty over the years. Your collaboration and belief in our products and services has helped us innovate and reach this important milestone. 2023 was a pivotal year in Hyva's history as we restructured our business model from five existing Lines of Business (LoBs) into three new Business Units (BUs) to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and accelerate growth in a dynamic market landscape.

The new Business Units are:

1. Components (combining Tipping Solutions & Transport and Logistic Components)

2. Recycling (combining Container Handling & Waste Handling Solutions)

3. Cranes

A significant achievement was the production of our three-millionth hydraulic cylinder, highlighting our commitment to quality and innovation.
