Hyva do Brasil celebrates 25th anniversary
We are pleased to announce that today, 7 August 2020, Hyva do Brasil celebrates its 25th anniversary. Founded in 1995, Hyva do Brasil was the first Hyva manufacturing facility outside Europe, helping the company to spread its name around the globe.
Currently with approximately 300 employees and two manufacturing plants: one for the manufacture of cylinders and wet kits and the other focused on cranes, also selling Hyva Moving Floors.
Recognising this milestone, Rogério De Antoni, Vice-President Americas said, “I am very proud of how far we have come during these 25 years. I recall that 23 years ago we started producing cylinders and that in the first year we manufactured 150 cylinders in 12 months; currently we produce more than 200 cylinders per day. We have followed a path of great achievements and successes. Looking forward, there is potential for even greater growth – maintaining an outstanding position in the hydraulics market, reaching leadership in the truck-mounted cranes market and introducing innovations and new products to the market.
Commenting on the celebrations for this special year, Rogério said, “We had an extensive program of celebrations, with employees and their families, a big dinner party, shows and surprises for business partners, customers, suppliers and company staff, and sponsorship of social and sporting events in the local community. Unfortunately these plans had to be adapted because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will still celebrate, but in a manner appropriate to the current business and social environment – organizing a special lunch with employees, a commemorative gift, and an online festivity for customers and suppliers."
