Hyva launches four new crane families
Designed to complement its highly successful 13-16 tm lines, the new product families from Hyva mean that the company now offers solutions for every industry and applications, from mining to maintenance, construction to car recovery. Comprising 24 models in total, the new cranes fall into the 9 - 21 tm class and include the following families:
- HT range of telescopic boom cranes: compact, light and easy to operate, the HT range is ideal for applications such as car recovery.
- HB range of articulated boom cranes: designed to optimise cost and performance in loading and unloading operations. See the video
- HC range of high-performance articulated cranes: its double linkage boom system makes this crane an ideal solution for complex lifting applications. See the video
- HC K range of short boom articulated cranes with double linkages: installed on compact wheelbase trucks and designed for the delivery of large loads, this crane is perfect for construction applications.
All Hyva cranes are extremely versatile and support a wide range of configurations. With the addition of the New Cranes Line, Hyva is now extending its crane product coverage from 1 to 165 TM, covering all customer needs. While every Hyva product is designed and built on the principles that are at the heart of the company’s operation – safety, reliability and ease of use – innovation, too, is a well-known hallmark of Hyva products.
The New Crane Line features the latest generation of innovations from Hyva: the Dynamic Load Diagram, which provides advance verification of crane lifting capacity based on truck stability, and the Magic Touch, which allows automatic folding and unfolding to transport and working positions. Both of these features improve driver attention, can save time and increase productivity.
Hyva has also introduced a New Control Station, which has integral crane and stabiliser controls, an ergonomic working position, and a user-friendly interface which delivers improved operator efficiency and safety together with increased productivity. The New Crane Line is produced in a new dedicated assembly line in Poviglio, Italy, developed according to the best in class manufacturing principles in terms of quality and efficiency.
“With the New Crane Line, we can now offer excellent capabilities across the truck-mounted crane range, in a variety of configurations, from 9 to 21 tm,” explained Davide Catellani, Line of Business Director Cranes. “And, with state-of-the-art design, new hydraulics and electronics we are delivering choice, performance, safety and ease of use throughout our new range.”
The Edge Line will be presented at IAA 2018 in Hannover, Germany, from 20 to 27 September (Indoor: Hall 26, Stand C11 and Outdoor: FG N65).
