2-section Cylinder and beam limitation - 2CYBEL
Monitors boom direction, stabilizer legs and beams
The 2-section Cylinder and beam limitation system (2CYBEL) monitors that all stabilizer legs are down before it is possible to change into crane mode and operate the crane.
In the side where the stabilizer beam is completely extended, the crane can lift 100%.
If the stabilizer beam is not completely extended in one side, the lifting capacity is reduced in this side to the pre-set value, which has been found during the stability test. If the boom system is above the truck body, the crane can lift 100%.
The 2CYBEL system can also include a separate traverse.
A flexible system
This system makes it possible to work safely with the crane without having to extend the stabilizer beams on both sides of the truck if you only need to work on one side.
It saves time for the operator without compromising safety, since the lifting capacity will be reduced when the crane reaches the unstable area on the side where the stabilizer beam is not extended.
Cooperates with the other safety systems of the crane
If the crane is equipped with a high-stand limitation (HSL) system, the slewing movement is limited both over the stand-up platform and in the side where the stabilizer beam is not completely extended when the operator is standing on the platform.
If the crane is equipped with 2-stage LMB system, the lifting capacity is reduced to the same level - both in front of the driver's cab and in the side where the stabilizer beam is not completely extended. I.e. the lifting capacity of the crane is limited to a safe level in the entire area.
