Stabilizer leg warning
What it is
Stabilizer cylinder warning (CYW) is a signal for stabilizer legs being up and the stabilizer beam being retracted.
The CYW system monitors whether the stabilizer cylinders of the crane are in correct transport position. More specifically, the system ensures that the stabilizer footplates are suitably off the ground and that the stabilizer beams are fully retracted.
How it works
If the operator does not stow the crane's stabilizers before driving off, the system detects that the footplates are not in the correct transport position, and an electric signal activates an acoustic signal or a diode in the driver's cab. This way, you avoid damage to the truck and the crane's stabilizers during transport.
