2-stage load moment limitation
How it works
During the stability test, the body builder sets the unstable area in front of the driver’s cab and the maximum permissible load moment in this area.
When operating the crane, the slewing sensors monitor the position of the crane, and the RCL monitors the load moment.
Full information for the operator
When the crane is working in the unstable slewing area in front of the driver’s cab, the RCL reduces the maximum permissible load moment. This way, the operator can use the crane in front of the driver’s cab without any tilting risk.
When the crane is working in the stable slewing area with a load exceeding the moment permissible in the unstable area, a warning will be issued. This way, the operator is informed that the crane will be stopped if he/she swings the crane into the pre-set 2LMB area with the current load.
