Calibration of vehicle stability system during crane operation

For a better work efficiency

Calibration bypass (CBS) is used, e.g. when performing crane work where the vehicle is moved frequently. The system allows you to calibrate your EVS without having to fold your crane or put it in vertical position. It makes your work easier and quicker in all applications where you need to move your truck between lifts.

How does it work?

During slewing movements and when passing over the centre of the platform body, the calibration bypass sensor gives a signal to the RCL system and the EVS system. Then you can manually calibrate to 100%. A slew indicator gives a signal when the boom system is above the centre of the platform body. The signal from the slew indicator indicates 100% stability and thereby allows for a 100% calibration of the EVS vehicle stability system.
